rodeo hand painted jeans rodeo hand painted jeans::The pageant was held the weekend prior to the annual san dimas rodeo and on thursday and friday she traveled with the reigning miss rodeo california to visit with sponsors.
She and her parents loaded up the 2 horse trailer with 3 clothing racks and packed many boxes that held her hats and boots into the trailer.
Her electric blue dress featured handpainted, glittered butterflies fluttering from the right hip around the hem of the dress and on both sleeves.
The princess neckline had butterflies and rhinestones with many rhinestones scattered throughout the butterflies.
Many rhinestones were added for additional sparkle.
Although her nana had no knowledge of horses, she always supported jeni in her efforts to earn the miss rodeo california title.
When choosing her current event impromptu question she chose a gabardine dress made by a friend in temecula, ca.
To compliment her figure she chose a bolero jacket over a tankdress.
The outfit is teal with tan and purple accents and is her first teal outfit.
One of the reasons she chose gabardine over leather was that it is easier to care for and to pack than leather and jeni felt that the judges would appreciate this if she were to become miss rodeo america.
Jeni will forever remember the friends she has made as miss rodeo california.
These include the queens, committee people, host families and rodeo people she has met along the way.
As far as a most memorable rodeo experience, jeni carried the american flag at the industry hills rodeo shortly after the september 11 tragedy.
Her last lap was a fullblown fly by and the crowd was roaring as she ended her presentation.
